Improved communication between printers, paper makers and ink suppliers
PrintIP (Development of suitable laboratory test methods for improved communication between printers, papermakers and ink suppliers) is an ERA-NET CORNET project. The objective is to develop test methods to determine the printability properties of paper for use in the paper, ink and printing industries. The focus is on the three main aspects: mottling, strike-in and picking. One particular aim of the project is to lay the foundations for enhanced information exchange between the printing industry, papermakers and ink suppliers.
